International Success of the First Diploma in E-Commerce Offshore Law

IBLS Educational Program "Diploma in E-Commerce Offshore Law" has been successfully completed and IBLS congratulates all Diploma graduates!

"During the course of this ten-week Program, participants were able to share their experiences with offshore e-commerce issues and to expand their knowledge of this very exciting area of the law," commented Prof. Alain Megias Director of Diploma Programs.

Due to the success of this Program, IBLS is pleased to announce that another Diploma in Offshore E-Commerce Law will start in January 2005. Applications for the 2005 Program are available at:

These are a few words from some of the high-profile professionals, from around the world, who participated in the 2004 Program:

"I was conversant with most of this material in the discharge of my political duties while Vice President of the States of Guernsey Advisory and Finance Committee for the past six years. The committee was responsible for international affairs such as negotiations with the OECD, FATF, G7 and the EU. Nevertheless the discipline of reading and thinking through the issues in a structured way has been invaluable, enjoyable and informative - plus I now have the advantage of the course notes and the listed web links." John E. Langlois, St Peter Port,Guernsey, C.I.

"Thank you for a very informative and stimulating course. Despite having some experience in the areas of the programme, I nonetheless also learnt a great deal, which will benefit me in the work that I do." Rowena Bethel, Minsitry of Finance Government of The Bahamas, Nassau, Bahamas.

"I found legal information and interaction among students quite stimulating - the course itself was informative and would help to formulate useful strategies for my clients." Téj P. Thind IFM International Network, Montreal, Canada.

"This is to inform that I have very much enjoyed the course. I have not been able to participate in the discussion boards due to the absence of Internet connection at home. I did print out the weekly modules and study them accordingly weekly." Rick C. Samuels Gomez & Bikker law offices, Oranjestad, Aruba.

"I enjoyed the course and found it very informative. This course works well with courses taken for an LLM." Robert Reittinger, Attorney at Law, New York.

Once again, congratulations to the Diploma graduates!
