INTERNET LAW - Electronic Transactions Under Australian Law

Electronic transactions in Australia are regulated by the Electronic Transactions Act 1999 (the “ETA”), which provides a regulatory framework useful for the development of electronic commerce in Australia. The ETA establishes the validity of electronic signatures and sets forth several regulations applying to electronic communications.
