Copyright Laws Meet The Internet: The Digital Millennium Copyright Act

The World Intellectual Property Organization (“WIPO”) met in 1996 in Geneva and treaties were signed. The Digital Millennium Copyright Act that was passed in 1998 includes the treaties from the WIPO. It is a long bill and encompasses a wide range of related topics.
