Trademark Renewal, Abandonment, and Restoration in the United Kingdom

Once trademarks are issued in the United Kingdom, these rights can be renewed, voluntarily surrender it at any time, or abandoned. Whether or not a trademark should be surrendered or abandoned must be carefully considered. Once the surrender application has been completed, the Trade Marks Registry cannot restore the mark.
