European Union Directive Upon Privacy Restrictions

Privacy concerns have plagued many countries in protecting the privacy of their citizens. The European Data Directive has been adopted to prevent the abuse of the use of personal data and require that the users become informed of the nature of the information collected and the how this information will be used.
