What Internet Companies Need To Know About The Americans With Disabilities Act

Internet companies should be familiarized with the Americans with Disabilities Act (“ADA”) not only to create physical offices that accommodate their disabled employees, but also, perhaps, to create Internet products that accommodate their customers. To demonstrate the necessity to under this legislation, a lawsuit was filed by the National Federation of the Blind who sued America Online and alleged that their Internet service was accessible to the blind.
