Challenges Facing Tax Policy Posed by the Serious Substantive and Administrative Tax Systems

There are challenges that are facing the Tax Policy that are caused by changes in the economy, such as globalization and e-commerce. While, the implications of these natural tensions for tax policy are just beginning to be appreciated, the Treasury and other governmental organizations are actively examining and responding to the challenges raised by the emerging global environment. These challenges are how to tax the activities of our citizens and residents on a neutral basis when their activities increasingly go beyond our borders and thus are more difficult to discover and evaluate. The focus here will be on the challenges posed by the serious substantive and administrative tax systems.
