Electronic Data Interchange And Electronic Contracts

Electronic contracts are becoming more commonplace in electronic commerce. Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) is defined as 'the exchange of documents in standardized electronic form, between organizations, in an automated manner, directly from a computer application in one organization to an application in another'. EDI has been used prior to the invention of the current Internet setting and has proven to be effective that is now being used in electronic contracts and e-commerce.
