Federal Regulators Examine Whether States Are Hindering Electronic Commerce

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) is investigating whether states are impacting and decreasing the existence of electronic commerce. The FTC is examining whether these states by their regulations are hindering the progress and realities of electronic commerce. The federal government is able to override state laws and regulations if they are unduly burdening interstate commerce and congressional enumerated powers such as trade and commerce.
