New Indian Patents Bills

The Patents (Second Amendment) Bills, 1999 is passed by both the Houses of Parliament on 17.05.02. The Bill was aimed at making the Indian Patent law Trips compliant. The Bill has restructured the exciting provisions relating to public interest, compulsory licensing national security, protection of traditional knowledge, protection of public health and nutrition.
