Jordanian Patent Law

Jordanian patent law conforms to the World Intellectual Property Organization standards. Membership in the Patent Cooperation Treaty is pending; this membership would enable international applications through the Jordanian Patent Registry. Sanctions for patent infringement may include imprisonment for up to one year and fines up to three thousand Jordanian Dinars. Following, there is a brief description of Jordanian patent law.
