Gambling in Denmark is Contributing Towards Charitable Purpose

Denmark has well developed system for taxing gambling profits and proceeds. Deployment of income and revenue generated by gambling industry is also channeled justifiably to social causes. Control mechanisms on the gambling industry, designed to avoid its abuse on society, are closely monitored by the Danish government. However, Denmark’s monitoring policy may not match with the European Commission’s free internal market economy policies, and must therefore be scrutinized.
