Panorama of the Gambling Sector in Germany

Private and foreign operators face prohibitions on entry to the German gambling sector. Gaming is governed by Federal and regional entities in Germany. The gambling laws of Germany have created a quasi-state monopoly with only exceptional private operators permitted in the gambling industry.
