Australia-united States Free Trade Agreement (ausfta) And E-commerce

On January 1, 2005, the United States and Australia concluded a comprehensive free trade agreement (AUSFTA), which was designed to eliminate and reduce tariffs and other trade barriers and to promote mutual economic growth and prosperity. This Agreement provides that there will be no barriers to trade conducted electronically and also makes permanent the current practice of not subjecting such transmissions to customs duties.
