Streamlined Sales Tax Project- National Governors Association

One of the objections that make the top of the list when considering imposition of sales or use tax on Internet sales is the wide variety of state tax law and tax rates, and the burden it would create for web merchandisers. One of the proposed means of resolving the problem is the National Governors Association (NGA) Streamlined Sales and Use Tax Agreement (SSUTA).
