Council Regulation N.1992/2003 Amending Council Regulation N.40/94 On The Community Trade Mark To Give Effect To The Accession Of The European Community To The Protocol Relating To The Madrid Agreement Concerning The International Registration Of Marks.

The Council Regulation (EC) n.1992/2003 dated 27th October 2003 amends the Council Regulation (EC) n.40/94 on the Community trade mark to give effect to the accession of the European Community to the Protocol relating to the Madrid Agreement concerning the international registration of marks, adopted at Madrid on the 27th June 1989. This Regulation deals with different aspects to which it is appropriate to make a through review, among which some procedures in case of contention of international registration regularity, the replacement request for a Community trade mark by an international registration, the conversion of a designation of the European Community through an international registration into a national trade mark application or into a designation of Member States.
