Council Regulation (ec) N.1992/2003 Dated 27th October 2003 Amending Council Regulation (ec) N.40/94 Dated 20th December 1993 On The Community Trade Concerning The International Registration Of Marks.

The Council Regulation (EC) n.1992/2003 dated 27th October 2003 amends the Council Regulation (EC) n.40/94 on the Community trade mark to give effect to the accession of the European Community to the Protocol relating to the Madrid Agreement concerning the international registration of marks, adopted at Madrid on the 27th June 1989. This Regulation deals with different aspects to which it is appropriate to make a through review, among which the effects of international registrations designating the European Community, the registration publication of a trade mark designating the European Community, the seniority, the examination as to absolute grounds for refusal and the Community search report.
