The New Personal Data Protection Code

January 1st, 2004, the new Data Protection Code bringing with it a more harmonized system and facilitated procedures for ensuring that personal data undergoes processing in a correct and fair manner. This consolidated code groups together all previous legislation in the sector and includes the codes of practice applicable to individual sectors.
