The Mexican Institute of Industrial Property (Instituto Mexicano de Propiedad Intelectual, or IMPI) is the Mexican Government body in charge of Industrial Property matters. The Industrial Property Law in Mexico was published in 1991 and has been updated to meet the international standards.
