Electronic Signature Under The Law Of Bermuda

Electronic signatures in Bermuda are regulated by the Electronic Transactions Act, which was enacted in August 1999 (the “ETA”), and which creates the legal framework for electronic commerce transactions in Bermuda. The ETA sets forth several regulations aimed at supporting electronic transactions, and notably recognizes the validity of electronic signatures.
