Cyber Crimes Under The Law Of Malaysia

Computer crimes in Malaysia are punishable under the Computer Crimes Act, which was brought into effect on June 1, 2000 (the “CCA.”) The CCA notably sets out a few types of criminal offences most of which involve the unauthorized use of computers, namely: access to computer material; modification to computer material; wrongful communication of a password.
