Personal Data Protection Office And Protection Of Personal Data In Slovakia

In Slovakia, the processing of personal data is regulated by the Act n. 428/2002 on personal data protection dated July 3, 2002 (the “Personal Data Protection Act.”) In order to supervise the protection of personal data, this Act established the Personal Data Protection Office (“PDPO,”) an independent public entity with a nationwide jurisdiction, which head office is in Bratislava.
