Processing Sensitive And Non-sensitive Personal Data Under The Law Of Estonia

In Estonia, the protection of personal data is regulated by the Personal Data Protection Act of June 12, 1996, entered into force on July 19, 1996, as amended (the “Personal Data Protection Act.”) The Personal Data Protection Act has been drafted in conformity with the EU Directive 95/46/EC on the Protection of Individuals with regard to the Processing of Personal Data and on the Free Movement of Such Data (the “Data Protection Directive.”)
