Internet Engineering Task Force (ietf)

The use of Internet Societies globally has provided a source of leadership to issues that have involved the Internet. The Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) has participating in the computing, networking, and telecommunications industries, from companies large and small, and is responsible for developing the Internet’s technical foundations through its open global forum. With the financial backing from the Internet Society and the use of working groups, the IETF has become a source for Internet guidelines and standardization measures to assist with the proper expansion of the Internet.
