Electronic Contracts Under The Law Of Luxembourg

The legal aspects of electronic contracts under the law of Luxembourg are enunciated in the Law of August 14, 2000 on E-Commerce, which implements the European E-Commerce Directive, and which amends the Civil Code, the Commerce code and the Penal Code. Some of these regulations constitute additional constraints for merchant websites dealing with consumers from Luxembourg. They must be respected, given the criminal sanctions attached.
