The Protection Of Personal Data Under The Law Of Tunisia

In Tunisia, the Electronic Exchanges and Electronic Commerce Law dated August 9, 2000 regulates personal data collection, processing and transfer. This law has been enacted in order to provide a general framework for e-commerce, and contains several provisions aimed at protecting consumers. The protection of personal data collected via the Internet is one of these provisions.
