Isp Data Storage Obligation Under Spanish Law

Under Spanish law, Internet Service Providers (“ISP”) are required to store connection data in case such data should be needed in a criminal investigation or to safeguard public security or national defense. This obligation is specified in the Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (the "LISSEC.")
