Latin American Integration Association [LAIA]

The Latin American Integration Association (LAIA) has been established to promote and encourage free trade. Arising out of an extension of the Latin American Free Trade Association, this organization has been created to create a common market for its member nations and an elimination of trade barriers. The organization has a limited goal of encouraging free trade, with no deadline for the institution of a common market.
