Information Commissioner (united Kingdom)

The Information Commissioner has the role of enforcement of two important pieces of legislation, the Data Protection Act 1998 and the Freedom of Information Act 2000. The Information Commission becomes the arbiter when disputes arise involving misuse of this information.
