Electronic Communications Privacy Act

The Electronic Communications Privacy Act (ECPA) involves the disclosure of confidential communications or the interception of electronic communications by improper means such as hacking or by the use of system operators that already have access but are engaging in unlawful business practices by either using their system improperly or by using their technology to intercept personal communications.
