The Wto Work Program On Electronic Commerce

The adoption of the WTO Work Program on Electronic Commerce was introduced to explore how electronic commerce should be dealt with in the context of the Uruguay Round Agreements and the WTO. This program was undertaken to determine the role of electronic commerce in economic activity and in trade and tariff revenue collection. The goods and products that are sent across networks in digital services will have an impact on whether or not the duty-free implications are relevant and therefore this program will examine the impact of the delivery of these products.
