Highlights of the IBLS Strategic Global Summit for E-Commerce which took place September 18th & 19th, 2003

With speakers and attendees coming from throughout the world, the IBLS Strategic Global Summit for E-Commerce was one of the most important events for defining the direction of Internet Law in 2003. The event was a showcase as to the importance of global coordination and networking in play when doing business online. The keynote speaker was U.S. Federal Trade Commissioner Mozelle W. Thompson, who extrapolated on many U.S. key positions concerning Internet regulations and laws. His dynamic examples of new areas in need of further clarification provided attendees and fellow speakers with much needed insight.
