First LL.M. in Tax specialization in E-Commerce at St. Thomas University School of Law

IBLS Online Education is excited to welcome St. Thomas University School of Law (STU) students into the final courses required for the E-Commerce specialization LL.M. in International Tax.

Students who started in June of 2002 and took all the courses offered by IBLS during the Summer and Fall semesters at STU will complete their E-Commerce Specialization in the LL.M program by enrolling into two new courses starting February 3rd.

For the Cyber Crime and Techno-Torts class, IBLS is introducing its new professor, Shane Greenberg. Professor Greenberg has extensive experience in Internet law, from both an academic and private practice perspective. The course will look at evolving areas of cyberlaw such as encryption, cyberterrorism, electronic evidence, cyberstalking and more hot topics.

The Privacy class is being taught by IBLS Online Education Director and Professor Sally Amirghahari. It will focus on the various privacy issues surrounding E-Commerce. The course will look at privacy statutes from global jurisdictions, with an emphasis on the U.S. Federal Trade Commission and European Union Directives on personal data collection.

Warnborough University Selects IBLS Online Education Courses For Worldwide Learning Centers

Warnborough University, Canterbury, Kent, England, a premier learning institution with online and traditional campuses throughout the world, has selected IBLS Online Education courses for their school's programs.

A review of the development of an internet delivered ll.m program in United States

Professor William H Byrnes, IV, Director of LL.M. International Tax, at St. Thomas University School of Law, has written an article addressing the new Masters of Law (LL.M.) online education field, a field that Professor Byrnes has taken a leadership role in creating. Informative, scholarly, and timely, it will provide a solid basis for those thinking of pursuing an online LL.M. degree at an ABA accredited school.

This article reviews the development of the first Internet delivered LL.M program in the United States.
